Now, the company has released an official teaser of the upcoming smartphone. If it turns out to be true, then the company will surely release a second longer teaser of the OnePlus before the official release.

As expected with every OnePlus flagship, performance has always been a top priority.

Last year, the OnePlus 5T and OnePlus 5 came in a 6GB+64GB storage and 8GB RAM+128GB version.

There is no mention on the pricing and other details in the blog post by the CEO.

The OnePlus 6 might come with an under-glass fingerprint scanner too.

OnePlus, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer is all geared up to launch its next generation flagship smartphone – OnePlus 6 soon. The speculated price for base variant (64GB) of OnePlus 6 is $525 which is roughly Rs. 34,200. Watch the space for all updates on the OnePlus 6.

Following his earlier confirmation of critical specifications for the OnePlus 6 yesterday, Lau now also adds that users will have the option to hide the display notch for his company’s upcoming smartphone.

Like other smartphones, the OnePlus 6 will feature an iPhone X-style notch, albeit smaller and with software to ensure users get the most out of their screen real-estate without sacrificing visual media.

The OnePlus 6 will make use of Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor, the Snapdragon 845 as revealed by Lau.

The launch date, however, is not shared by the company but we expect the device to launch in June with sales starting from the first week of July. Sources have been confirmed that the OnePlus 6 will come with a 6.2-inch display and there will be a notch at eh top of the display. When it comes to software, the handset is listed on Wi-Fi Alliance with Android 8.1 Oreo OS.

OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei recently talked up the notch in an interview and even tweeted that fans should learn to love the notch.

But the hardware is only half the story, and we’ve all been very curious about how OnePlus will implement a notched display. Another thing worth noting is that the OnePlus 6 will keep the 3.5mm headphone jack, which is good news for users who do not wish to plug in their audio accessories to a USB-C port.
