Samsung Galaxy M40 might launch sooner than we expected

AT&T has revealed the Samsung Galaxy Fold will hit its store shelves on April 26.

Here’s a brief look at what it’s like to use it. Hunter covers business and economy stories here at Billionaire 365.

The long-awaited Samsung Galaxy Fold can now be pre-ordered and the South Korean giant has listed AT&T and T-Mobile as carrier partners.

In a rare move, Samsung did not allow media attendees to try the device after its Unpacked keynote in February. According to these tests, the Galaxy S10 5G reached speeds of a whopping 4Gbps (that’s Gigabits per second). Not one to cut corners when it comes to variety in display size, Samsung’s likely aiming to out-do the Galaxy S10 5G with the larger of the two Galaxy Note 10 models – but only by 0.05 inches. At this time, it doesn’t appear that Samsung will be selling an unlocked version of the Galaxy Fold.

The infographic below does a solid job of describing the features of the device in both folded and unfolded form.

There’s also virtually no bezel when in tablet mode, which made the experience of playing mobile games or watching video feel especially immersive.

Based on these first impressions, we can safely say the Galaxy Fold is every bit a first-gen product. The Wi-Fi listing doesn’t reveal much other than that the Galaxy M40 runs on Android 9 Pie. “You can see the center crease when you hold it at certain angles, the slightest ripple in a still pool of water”. These devices could be announced around August which should be knowing in the coming weeks since there is no official confirmation on the same from the company. There is a fingerprint scanner on the backside of the device. Maybe Samsung will cram in a newer Exynos processor, or spec the Pro models up with more RAM for better performance. It’s an important upgrade and most users should install it soon after it arrives. It learns your preferences as you go and improves over time.

The company is upbeat about the news as it has struggled to break through the stagnant smartphone market _ it desperately tries to keep its No. 1 position in the global smartphone market in the face of challenges from China’s Huawei.
